We are a small body care brand from Singapore. Our name comes from the Bahasa Melayu word for wilderness — the untouched, living jungle that breathes life into all it surrounds. That is where this begins, and it is the belief beneath everything: that everything good and pure can be found in nature.

Belantara was founded by Shawn and Iker. Shawn, Singaporean, brings a native intimacy with tropical living — the heat, the rain, the green that grows back faster than you can clear it. Iker, from Spain and now calling Singapore home, brings the art of living well. Between them, one shared conviction: that the everyday act of caring for your skin deserves more than it is usually given. Not more products, more steps, more noise. More intention.

What we make is small and considered. A hand and body cleanser, a hand and body lotion, in three fragrances — Frangipani & Ambergris, Lemongrass & Pandan, and Ylang Ylang & Pear. That is the collection. We are not trying to be everything. We are trying to make a few things worth returning to.

At the centre of all of it is mango butter — a velvety extract pressed from the discarded seed of the fruit, drawn from the rich traditions of Southeast Asia's tropical forests. It is our signature, the ingredient that makes the wash feel softer at the point of contact and the lotion settle deeper into the skin. Every formula is sulphate-free, paraben-free, and silicone-free.
